Job Description:
FARHA ROOFING, an award-winning roofing company based in Kansas, is seeking a skilled Roofing Foreman Assistant with a preferred 2 years of experience to join their team in Wichita. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in roofing or construction, possess knowledge of various roofing systems (Metal, TPO, EPDM, PVC & Asphalt), and be able to contribute effectively to a collaborative, team-oriented work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Roofing subcontractors and act as the crew point of contact.
- Oversee job flow and project completion schedule to ensure projects are completed on budget and on time.
- Manage project labor, materials, process invoices, and handle equipment rentals.
- Deliver roofing materials to projects as required.
- Process, troubleshoot, and communicate contract change orders and project corrections with a project manager.
- Attend bi-weekly goal-setting and review meetings.
- Develop and implement new efficient processes.
- Ensure full compliance with all state and local codes, as well as manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Construction background preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Basic computer and internet skills; ability to use a smartphone.
- Ability to lift 80 pounds and climb on roofs.
- Must pass a background check.
- Personally driven and self-motivated.
