We work with both state-of-the-art looms, while also utilizing those machines that have been in our facility for many years. Every day is different based on the equipment we use, the design of the products, or the people you work with.
This would be a role that would require you to work with machines, equipment and your hands, having a high-attention to detail and accuracy of the end product being produced. Core Responsibilities
- Adjusting equipment based on the design and production needs
- Working with various sizes of small yarns and moving parts
- Learn to work the looms without additional support or supervision
- Performs work independently, while willing to support a team
- Manage to daily and weekly production numbers for the team to achieve
- Willing to take daily direction on workload and projects to be completed
- Ability to work quickly, but ensure high quality of end product
- Report damage or faulty equipment to management, when needed
- Support overall production in various work areas as leadership and supervisors see need and are assigned
- Perform quality control functions to ensure product is meeting expectations
- Strong attention to detail, natural curiosity and drive for accuracy
- Ability to follow technical specifications and work orders
- Needs to be organized, self-starter, and able to prioritize effectively
- Must be able to work 40 hours per week.
- Must be able to be on your feet and work with your hands for 10 hour shifts
- Ability to lift 35-50 pounds from the floor to waist high level
- High School or GED, some college preferred
- 0-3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment or production experience preferred
