Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support:
- Data Entry: Accurately input and maintain records of meal donations in the organization's database.
- Reporting: Generate and prepare regular reports on meal donations, logistical operations, and social media performance for internal review.
- Correspondence: Respond to inquiries via email, phone, and social media channels, ensuring excellent communication and donor satisfaction.
Logistics Support:
- Donation Coordination: Assist in scheduling meal donation pickups and deliveries.
- Inventory Management: Maintain up-to-date records of food supplies and donation distributions.
- Vendor Liaison: Communicate with vendors and partners to ensure smooth logistical operations.
Event Support:
- Planning Assistance: Support the planning and coordination of fundraising and community outreach events.
- On-Site Support: Provide logistical and administrative assistance during events, including setup, breakdown, and attendee coordination.
- Volunteer Coordination: Assist in organizing and managing event volunteers.
Social Media & Content Creation:
- Content Creation: Produce engaging written, photo, and video content for social media platforms.
- Photo & Video Editing: Perform minor editing of photos and videos to enhance quality and align with brand standards.
- Social Media Management: Regularly post content, schedule posts, and monitor engagement across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Hashtag Analysis & Trends: Research and utilize trending hashtags and viral campaigns to boost visibility and engagement.
- Performance Analytics: Track and analyze social media metrics to optimize content strategy and enhance audience reach.
Research & Verification:
- Partner Verification: Research to evaluate the credibility and alignment of potential new organizations and partners with Farm2Veteran’s mission.
- Data Collection: Compile and maintain detailed records of verified organizations, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for the team.
- Compliance: Ensure all partner organizations meet required guidelines and align with Farm2Veteran's values.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Be proactive and ready to jump in where necessary to support the team.
- Take on new and evolving responsibilities as the organization grows and needs shift.
Qualifications:
Education:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in administrative, logistics, or social media management support, preferably in a non-profit setting.
- Experience with data entry, database management, and social media analytics.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiarity with donation management software (preferred but not required).
- Basic skills in photo and video editing tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, or similar).
- Knowledge of social media scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Later).
