An insurance background along with farming and ranching history are ideal for this position. The role requires that you meet with agents and potential client/members at farms in assisting with opening and closing of sales.
Essential Functions:
Drive the acquisition of profitable new business through leads and field work, specifically in person client/member interaction. Collaborate with Farm Bureau Agents working with both prospective and current client members. Assist agency staff in selecting and writing profitable Ag business for FBL by responding to agent questions and providing training to agents at classes, meetings, and through daily contact. Assist with both opening and closing of sales and client member annual reviews.
Contribute to the profitability of FBL by effectively accepting, modifying, or rejecting various Ag new business risks, changes, and renewal underwriting.
Respond to and interpret Ag underwriting questions and concerns by providing technical service to policy holders and the agency force.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
