What You'll Do
- Respond to and resolve customer service requests for external customers, departmental staff, and other personnel.
- Accept, modify, or reject new application submissions as well as policy changes, review premium audits, and prepare policy renewals.
- Assist agents in preparing presentations and quotes for prospects or client members.
- Develop and modify existing guidelines to ensure they produce desired results.
- Create presentations and make recommendations for updating procedural guidelines and new markets.
- Support agents in the field with education for agents and client/members and presentations when needed for information gathering and closing presentations.
- This role is located in our Manhattan, KS office.
- College degree or equivalent is required plus five years of relevant experience required.
- Strong organizational, analytical, problem solving, and presentation skills are required.
- Computer/keyboard skills as appropriate to this position.
- Knowledge of all Farm Bureau inquiry systems, automated rating systems, underwriting manuals, valuation software for buildings and vehicles, and industry specific websites to support underwriting activities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills as appropriate to this position.
- A valid driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Records are required due to limited travel.
- Ability to read, write and speak the English language.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
