What You'll Do : As a Data Governance Intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a passionate group of professionals on various data governance and business intelligence activities surrounding critical data elements for our company. Your work will vary day to day but may include the development of dashboards and data quality metrics. You will also develop a working knowledge of business processes, work with business stakeholders to identify, document, and communicate business definitions, rules, and data anomalies that impact strategic outcomes.
Our internship program holds an 80 / 10 / 10 approach, meaning that 80% of your work time will involve performing tasks or working on projects within your hired work area. Another 10% of the time, you will be exposed to learning in other areas within your assigned division to get more corporate experience. Then, the final 10% will be spent in shared experiences across the organization, where you will get to really learn about our culture and work environment.
What It Takes to Join Our Team :
- Be a current college student (Incoming Senior preferred).
- Must have good analytical thinking skills.
- Effective communicator, both written and verbal.
- Must take initiative and be highly motivated.
- Be a self-starter and problem solver.
- Be able to work 8am-4 : 30pm Monday through Friday during summer 2025 from our office in West Des Moines, Iowa.
