Personal Lines Underwriter
Location : Goochland, VA

This position is responsible for underwriting insurance risks to meet company strategic goals.
LOCATION
West Creek Office (Goochland County, VA – Richmond, VA)
This position is based out of our beautiful West Creek Office location. Hybrid work schedule is offered, after an in-office training period.
POSITION
Full time (37.5 hours per week) – Salaried Position with Benefits
Hours : Monday – Friday 8 : 30am – 5 : 00pm
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Accept, modify, or reject risks according to assigned authority limits.
- Evaluate accounts for continued acceptability.
- Review contracts and requests for coverage changes.
- Communicate decisions to Agents.
- Review new business and changes to existing business.
- Assist Agents and Claims with coverage questions.
- Review claim files.
- Communicate by phone or in writing with company agents and policy holders.
