What are the responsibilities and job description for the Loan Application Systems Analyst position at Farm Credit Financial Partners?
The Application Systems Analyst II will work independently to engage with
FPI (Financial Partners Inc)
partner customers, internal and
external resources in evaluation, vendor management, implementation, maintenance, operational
support
and/or training of products in alignment with FPI’s business requirements within the agricultural lending Loan Operations space. They will also work with internal and external resources in a lead
capacity
on business process evaluation/improvement projects, looking to drive efficiencies and metrics into new or existing processes. The ASA II must
possess
the ability to troubleshoot, test, and debug loan accounting applications when necessary.
- Works as a primary contact point for partner customer loan accounting teams, supporting their normal business processes by configuring systems, troubleshooting issues, and addressing questions and requests.
- Builds standards, processes and procedures, and guidelines for business processes and environments.
- Ensures that all development and/or corrective software has been fully tested and documented by providing direction to QA (Quality Assurance) resources developing test plans. Exhibits learning agility to understand business process changes and applies latest information / concepts to the FPI environment.
- Engages in and maintains vendor relationships and contracts.
- Maintains current knowledge on upgrades to vendor supplied applications, transferring necessary information to our partner customers.
- Provide cross-functional assistance on an as needed basis to other operational area s of FPI. (e.g., QA)
- C ontributes to project teams and daily operational support.
- Identifies opportunities for quality and process improvement resulting in improved efficiency, increased productivity, and high customer satisfaction.
- Works on advanced, technical projects or business issues that provide the candidate opportunities to build expertise in the agricultural lending industry.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in a business or computer related field preferred with 2 years of experience
- Proficiency in systems level management of Microsoft operating systems
- Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
- DNA Fiserv software experience a plus
- Lawson General Ledger a plus
- Banking and lending experience a plus
- Tax reporting data analysis & filing a plus
- SQL skills preferred
- Salesforce knowledge preferred
- nCino knowledge preferred
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Typical noise levels for an open, cubicle-styled environment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS : This position requires periods of standing, walking, and the use of computer equipment. Additional physical demands include, but may not be limited to, talking or hearing, push/pull, stooping, kneeling, reaching w/hands and arms, and lifting at least 10 pounds.
