SCHEDULE: Full Time, Remote
TRAVEL REQUIRED: 50% - 75%
COMPENSATION: $72,380.00 to $154,755.00 base salary plus potential for variable compensation. Base pay is determined by your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Farm Credit Mid-America/Rural 1st may compensate outside of the salary range for bona fide reasons not related to membership in a protected class.
About Our Opportunity
The Rural 1st Relationship Manager delivers the Rural 1st partner strategy from implementation throughout the partner lifecycle. Serving as the main point of contact post-implementation, this position is responsible for building and executing strategies for the support, adoption and engagement of the Rural 1st program for assigned partner(s). The Rural 1st Relationship Manager will develop individualized partner retention strategies and lead the contract review process for assigned partner(s).
How You Will Spend Your Time
- Achieve sales results by coaching, influencing and collaborating with FCMA teams and partner associations, including participating in joint sales calls and events within designated partner market(s).
- Build successful, long-term relationships with assigned partner(s) by serving as a trusted advisor, strategic liaison and effective problem-solver, in alignment and support of the Rural 1st brand.
- Execute partner implementation according to the prioritization of the partnership onboarding roadmap.
- Drive adoption and engagement within assigned partner association(s).
- Act as the partner association’s advocate by providing sales leader support, identifying opportunities to create documentation/training/support materials to better support partner loan officers and developing key outcomes and goals for assigned partner(s).
- Lead/participate in presentations to current and prospective partner association's Board of Directors and executive leadership team.
- Develop individualized association retention strategy for assigned partner(s).
- Access and understand performance and usage trends in order to influence partner(s) success metrics.
- Develop prescriptive partner plans informed by partner KPI data.
- Maintain ongoing knowledge and awareness of partner market needs, competitive issues and industry evolution.
- Continually train and develop partner teams to drive productivity.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure partner questions, requests, enhancements and issues are promptly addressed and the feedback loop is firmly established.
- Establish new and cultivate existing relationships within the Farm Credit system.
Minimum Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in business, communications, marketing or relevant field. 4 years successful, relevant experience in consumer lending, financial services, relationship management or account management. Demonstrated experience working with complex customers who have involved product needs.
