Farm Credit of Southern Colorado (FCSC) is seeking a Human Resources Intern to join our team for the Summer 2025 semester. The chosen candidate will receive an opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and experience in the field through hands-on activities, coaching, and projects within the HR department.
This position is part-time, working approximately no more than 30 hours a week. Occasional travel may be required to sufficiently support other locations within territory.

Responsibilities : Human Resources
Will support functional HR areas, including but not limited to training & development, total rewards, employee relations, and HR operations, and talent acquisition through the following responsibilities :
- Conducting regular audits of HR systems to ensure data accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements
- Handling employee relations matters and requests with the guidance of the HR team
- Assisting HR team with onboarding new hires by collecting, organizing and filing necessary new hire paperwork
- Helping to coordinate and execute employee events such as workshops, trainings, and employee engagement events
- Providing administrative support to the recruitment team throughout the various stages of the recruitment process, as well as attending job fairs and recruitment events
- Conducting research and providing recommendations on HR best practices
- Assisting HR team with other various projects as needed
- Lead and participate in HR initiatives within the FCSC Culture Club by :
- Organizing various Culture Club sponsored events such as community service projects.
- Administer the rewards and recognition platform
- Conducting onboarding and offboarding of employees for culture initiatives

Pay Rate : $25 / hr.
This range is a good-faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of this posting. Actual salaries could vary and may be above or below the range as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2. Variation is based on various factors including but not limited to location, qualifications, experience, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law. In compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, a potential new employee's salary history will not be used in compensation decisions. In addition, benefits for this position include medical, dental, vision and life insurance, 401k, tax advantage accounts, paid vacation, sick leave and parental leave.
