What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator position at Farm Fresh Turkey Products?
Responsible for operating various Machines on the Ground lines for product packaging and for ensuring cones have appropriate levels of product to ensure minimized downtime.
MUST BE BILINGUAL. (SPANISH and ENGLISH) or (ENGLISH and CREOLE)

Second shift position
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Maintain a safe work environment by following company policies on GMP’s and PPE.
2. Set up machines pre- shift to include changing blades when appropriate.
3. Ensure proper meat is loaded into the correct line based on product mix.
4. Ensure FIFO and correct use by date
5. Keep ground lines full of meat when running product.
6. Maintain a working knowledge of the equipment in the Ground Tray area and understand its components and capabilities.
7. Push buttons pull levers to control machines.
8. Perform temperature checks and metal detector checks and complete the associated paperwork. Ensure and participate in compliance measures to meet GMP, HACCP, SQF and federal standards related to food safety and quality guidelines.
9. Perform other comparable and related duties, as assigned.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
Ø Must be able to read and understand customer orders and product mixes.
Ø Ability to push/pull Vmags (Containers filled with ground meat) to/ from production lines.
Ø Must be able to complete department forms.
Ø Ability to work with others and take direction.
