Warehouse Operations Lead

Basic Purpose

Provides on-going assistance to the shift supervisor to ensure accuracy and timely fulfillment of customer orders.

We are looking for someone with a strong background in warehouse and distribution. Looking to grow. Candidate would be a direct liaison to the Supervisor. Candaidate would mainly be on the dock directing and supervising.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Assists the shift supervisor with ensuring all established policies and procedures are followed by the warehouse team.

· Supervises all shipping and receiving activities from the Floor. This job requires you to be on the floor (Dock and Warehouse).

· Maintains a high degree of visibility and access to employees on the warehouse floor throughout the shift.

· Resolves warehouse-related issues with representatives from other departments.

· Reviews, prioritizes, and organizes all outgoing orders.

· Performs administrative tasks as necessary. Learn the shipping procedures in the office.

· Follows all safety, SQF, HACCP & GMP regulations.

· Maintains a working knowledge of all warehouse operations.

· Maintains safety programs and all required safety training for the crew.

· Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

· Supervises the warehouse operation on Saturdays.

· Perform daily cycle counts and participate in monthly inventory.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

· High School Diploma or equivalent.

· Min. 1-year High Reach Lift experience

· Ability to work autonomously with little supervision.

· Self-motivated

· Ability to safely operate a variety of industrial fork truck equipment.

· 2-3 years of related warehouse experience.

· Knowledge of or ability to learn Cat2 software.

· Read and write English to understand work orders. BILINGUAL would be a huge plus.

Job Type: Full-time
