Your Role:

-Product Knowledge: Become an expert on our seafood products, including their origins, flavor profiles, and preparation methods. Use your knowledge to educate customers and make personalized recommendations based on their preferences and dietary needs.

-Quality Control: Inspect incoming seafood shipments for freshness, quality, and adherence to our standards. Monitor product expiration dates, rotate stock, and remove any items that do not meet our quality criteria to ensure that only the freshest seafood reaches our customers.

-Customer Service: Provide friendly and attentive service to customers, answering questions, offering recommendations, and assisting with special requests. Handle customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, striving to ensure customer satisfaction with every interaction.

-Merchandising: Design attractive seafood displays that showcase our products and drive sales. Keep displays fresh, organized, and visually appealing at all times, and update signage and pricing as needed to communicate product information and promotions effectively.

-Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment at all times, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, and work surfaces. Follow food safety guidelines and procedures to ensure the safety and quality of our seafood products.

Qualifications

-You have a passion for seafood and a strong knowledge of different types of fish, shellfish, and other seafood products. You're familiar with seafood handling and preparation techniques and able to recommend cooking methods and recipes to customers.

-You're customer-oriented and committed to providing exceptional service that exceeds our customers' expectations. You're friendly, approachable, and able to build rapport with customers to create positive shopping experiences.

-You're a team player who works well with others and is willing to pitch in and help out wherever needed to ensure the smooth operation of the seafood department. You're reliable, responsible, and able to follow instructions and procedures accurately.

-You have a keen eye for detail and take pride in ensuring that every piece of seafood is fresh, properly handled, and presented with care. You're able to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality.
