Our customers can subscribe to a series of curated Farm Boxes or choose to shop à la carte. We deliver 5 days per week and are expanding in the NYC market. Our mission is to provide an ethical marketplace where people can know where their food is coming from. We recently opened a Kitchen & Bar where we serve a seasonal menu and host events. We are a tight-knit and inclusive team full of passionate foodies.
Work Location: Brooklyn, NY
Working Conditions: This is an on-site position
Schedule: 20-25 hours a week. This is a part-time, non-exempt position, days and hours are semi flexible. Wednesday/Thursday preferred
Compensation: $20-25/ hour
Reporting Structure: This position reports directly to the Creative Director.
Job Description
We’re seeking a part-time designer/content creator to help execute and cultivate Farm to People’s visual communications. You will be responsible for developing engaging posts, graphics, photos and videos to drive audience engagement and promote brand awareness. Using our style guide, you will help create on-brand, beautifully curated design elements for digital marketing, social media, website and printed material. You will also take ownership of special projects including infographics, UX designs and other assets for the website.
Not only are you detail-oriented, but you are an ultra-creative problem solver with keen ability to efficiently and successfully execute on digital and printed design tasks.

Weekly Tasks
- Create weekly email campaigns in Mailchimp
- Create reels and assets for social media
- Engage with our social media community through comments, likes, shares etc.
- Upload recipes and featured ingredients on blog
- Assist with Photoshoots and photo editing
- Occasionally come up with copy for captions and other brand assets
- Assist in researching products and materials for packing, printing etc.
- Ideate and design printed marketing material, flyers, menus cards, etc.
- Assist with creating prototypes in Figma
- Design graphics, icons and other digital material for website
- Proficiency in adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign
- Proficiency Mailchimp
- Proficiency in Figma
- Proficiency with computers, Mac or PC, and with Google Workplace
- Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role, you should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly
- Excellent time management, planning and organizing skills and has the ability to multitask
- Uses excellent English as the business language within the company and exhibits excellent oral and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to complete duties without supervision
- You will need to have your own working computer
- Passion for local farming and NYC food scene
- Strong innovative entrepreneurial talents
- Ability to work well independently, but also be part of a larger team
