At Farmer Brothers, our Revive™ Service & Restoration team excels in the art of tea and coffee equipment service. As a Coffee Equipment Operations Technician, you'll apply your skills to install, maintain, and repair coffee and beverage machinery, ensuring the satisfaction of our clients. Alongside managing your parts inventory and ensuring prompt completion of service documentation, you'll be instrumental in overcoming challenges in this dynamic field role.
Work Routine
Enjoy a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, while being prepared for on-call situations, including weekends.
Travel Dynamics
Work within an operational radius of 100 miles, with occasional regional travel.
- Primary Duties:
- Expertly handle installation, repair, and removal of beverage dispensing equipment.
- Conduct spontaneous and planned service operations, including emergencies and regular maintenance.
- Participate rotationally in "On Call" services after hours and weekends.
- Maintain inventory at recommended levels and process replenishments effectively.
- Commit to documenting service activities diligently for seamless closure processes.
- Engage in planful and reliable installations.
- Deliver timely and articulate communication.
- Articulate customer insights and demands to the management.
- Adhere to strict service levels outlined in agreements.
- Prioritize initiatives strongly to meet pressing goals.
- Educational & Experience Background:
- Minimum requirement of high school diploma or GED.
- Three-plus years in technical and mechanical fields required.
- Experience related to food services is beneficial.
- Familiarity with plumbing, electrical systems, or related technical expertise is preferable.
- Valid driving credentials are compulsory.
- Willingness for extensive in-region travel.
- Strong problem-solving and equipment troubleshooting abilities mandatory.
- Capacity for regular heavy lifting up to 60 pounds.
