How This Role Will Be Impactful
The Cone Line Trainer will be responsible for assuring all new hires in that department are trained to achieve their highest level of productivity in the most cost effective way possible. They will ensure new hires and other team members understand how to create the highest quality product through specific deboning processes and tasks. The Cone Line trainer will guide and coach team members by ensuring compliance with all food safety programs and enforcing all Farmer Focus policies and procedures. This trainer is responsible for supporting new team members' performance in their first 60 days.
Responsibilities
- Trains and motivates new team members to achieve their maximum quality and productivity performance levels
- Ensures new team members understand all positions and processes for effective Cone Line efficiency, including yield and scrape score metrics
- Directs and monitors new team members' performance in their 60-day introductory period and after (if necessary)
- Assist the Orientation trainer during the new hires' orientation week.
- Collaborates with direct supervisor and works to plan and implement training improvements
- Work with leads and management from operations by providing feedback about team member performance
- Promotes department and company goodwill through proactive team member communication and engagement
- Coach and trains team members in a way that reinforces and supports Farmer Focus values (Community, Accountability, Respect, Excellence, Stewardship)
- Communicates with supervisor and line lead in determining work assignments and trains employees on all areas that are necessary to meet production needs
- Gives feedback from team members' performance evaluation to their supervisor
- Completes training documents to keep track of performance
