Job Description
Maintain and care for our facilities and keep our buildings in a clean and orderly condition. The external and internal appearance of a building reflects on the occupants. It is important for the housekeeping attendant be careful and thorough in working, cleaning and tidying the premises. The ideal candidate will be experienced in a cleaning / housekeeping role focused in the general cleaning of facilities. They must have great physical endurance to cover a large space. A keen eye for detail and diligence are also imperative the position.
Responsibilities
- Clean and supply designated building areas to include / but not limited to dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.).
- Ensure cleanliness by taking out trash, tidying up break room and dusting surfaces.
- Wash and sanitize toilets, sinks and showers and restock disposables (e.g. soap).
- Wipe mirrors, doors and windows.
- Maintain outer premises sweeping sidewalks, taking out trash and cleaning entrances.
- Stock and maintain cleaning supplies.
- Cooperate with the rest of the staff.
- Follow all health and safety regulations.
- Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects.
- Reports to supervisor or maintenance any minor repairs (replacing broken switches, fixing door handles, minor leaks etc.) damages and ensures follow up when needed.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
