Position Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to support our Human Resources operations within a fast-paced poultry processing environment. This role will focus heavily on accurate data entry, documentation verification, and maintaining 100% compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate is organized, works well under pressure, and understands the importance of consistent and thorough HR documentation, especially in a regulated, labor-intensive industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter and maintain accurate employee data in HR systems (Workday), including new hires, rehires, job changes, terminations, and attendance records.
- Review and verify new hire documents, including I-9s, work eligibility, and other required employment paperwork, ensuring compliance with company and legal standards.
- Perform routine audits of physical and electronic personnel files to ensure all required documents are present, up to date, and properly stored.
- Respond to documentation requests from internal departments and maintain a high level of confidentiality in all employee matters.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience in HR, administrative, or data entry roles; experience in the poultry, food processing, or manufacturing industry is a plus.
- Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Workday experience is a plus but not required.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and file management.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-cultural workplace environment.
