Equipment Operator
Capital Quarries is seeking to fill an Equipment Operator position for our Traveling Stripping Crew. This position consists of fluctuating hours, up to 10-hour days. Currently, this plant is in Hartsburg MO currently.
JOB DUTIES:
- Dirt removal
- Run 40-ton articulated truck
- Operating equipment in a safe and efficient manner under varying weather conditions, while exposed to dampness, fumes, dust, electrical, mechanical, and traffic hazards.
- Being knowledgeable in the operation of multiple pieces of industry-related equipment.
- Routine maintenance on the equipment, including keeping equipment clean and operable.
- Communicate with the foreman and coworkers about the daily job specifications.
- Perform general labor duties when necessary.
- Due to changes and modifications in the job from time to time, employees are required to be flexible and assume other responsibilities assigned by management as deemed necessary.
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
- Equipment experience, including Dozer, Haul Truck, Wheel Loader, Excavator
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical
- Valid drivers license
- Weekends and travel required, as needed
