Description
Hedger Brothers Concrete is seeking experienced ready mix drivers in the Jonesboro area
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Communicate regularly with dispatcher
- Ensure a safe work environment while maintaining compliance with all safety policies and procedures
- Driver will be assigned loads, report as directed to job site, and complete a work order daily for that job
- Driver is expected to perform daily truck inspections
- Maintain truck logs or time recordings
- Load and secure equipment, as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid CDL Class B driver license
- Clean driving records
- Must be punctual, have a strong work ethic, and maintain a good attendance record.
- Previous experience driving a heavy haul, dump, end dump, or dump truck and pup
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent communication skills to interact at all levels
- Work overtime, nights, weekends, as needed
- Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
