Project Manager-Civil Construction
Capital Paving and Construction is a leader in heavy civil construction, specializing in highways, bridges, site development, infrastructure projects. We are dedicated to delivering high-quality projects safely, on time, and within budget. We are seeking an experienced Civil Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage key infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of civil construction projects, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
- Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Lead project teams, including engineers, subcontractors, and field staff, to ensure successful project execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement solutions to mitigate delays or cost overruns.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, permitting requirements, and environmental guidelines.
- Collaborate with clients, government agencies, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and communication.
- Prepare and present project reports, cost estimates, and financial analyses to senior management.
- Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and labor necessary for project completion.
- Manage contract negotiations, change orders, and project close-out procedures.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in civil construction project management.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven track record of managing heavy civil infrastructure projects, such as highways, bridges, and site developments.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry regulations.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and risk management practices.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
