Summary:
Mid level claims adjuster. Adjust assigned claims to a successful conclusion independently and under the direction of the
Regional Property Manager.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Evaluate claims to determine if a loss is covered, the amount of the loss, and proper conclusion in a reasonable amount
of time.

Overnight travel as required.

Must exercise diligent use of diary and excellent reserving fundamentals.

Perform or assist in special projects as assigned.

Meets Property Claims Adjuster level expectations and general department standards.

Climbing ladders and walking roofs, driving hours at a time and being able to carry a ladder are required. Working in hot
and cold temperature extremes is occasionally expected. Being able to have an in-person conversation with insured’s,
agents, contractors, public adjusters and vendors is required.
Education &/Or Experience:
- College Bachelor’s degree preferred. Consideration will be given to applicants with an associate's degree and a minimum five years work experience in the property/casualty insurance industry, and who have demonstrated a desire to learn through the completion of various IIA/CPCU or other recognized industry courses.
- Continued learning through additional courses may be required by the Manager.
