Marketing and Sales, Carnivore Pet Foods

Job Overview
We are looking for someone to lead our farm's growing pet food business. We sell human grade meats as pet foods for ancestral carnivore diets. We have a full line of single ingredient, all meat products sold on line and we are interested in local buying co-ops for pet owners across our region. The right leader will be a business entrepreneur comfortable working with farmers, meat processors, and pet owners and both online and in-person sales. Compensation will include quarterly performance bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Lead marketing and sales effort through both e-commerce online sales and in-person regional pet owners buying co-ops
• Oversee day-to-day operations of sourcing, processing, and delivering the highest quality carnivore pet foods possible
• Be the "face" of the business online
• Control investment and cost as necessary to create an economically sustainable business
• Maintain the high company standards for the ethical treatment of animals, safe production and handling of pet foods, and corporate social responsibility.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in management and leadership
• Excellent customer service and organizational abilities
• Knowledge of purchasing and bookkeeping practices
• Effective negotiation and employee orientation skills
• High-energy, high-performance, growth-oriented individual

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
