Important Note: Your application will not be considered if you do not hold a General Lines P&C and/or a Life License for at least 1 year.
Job Summary:
As an Insurance Producer, you will be responsible for acquiring new business, developing insurance quotes, and closing sales. You will build and maintain relationships with clients and referral partners, ensuring exceptional customer service. We are looking for a driven and goal-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and a passion for helping others.
Responsibilities:
- Acquire new business through telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
- Develop and present insurance quotes to potential clients.
- Close sales and achieve high sales targets.
- Develop and maintain relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, and other referral sources.
- Greet customers entering the office in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Understand and adhere to all underwriting, rating, and compliance requirements.
- Maintain knowledge of new insurance products and services.
- Prospect for new business using referrals, networking, marketing, cold-calling, and lead databases.
- Maintain client relationships through follow-up phone calls and excellent communication.
- Handle stressful and difficult situations with tact and professionalism.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Property & Casualty and/or Life insurance.
- Active General Lines P&C License.
- Active Life and Health License.
- Honesty and integrity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in multitasking, follow-through, and follow-up.
- Positive and professional personality.
- Resourceful and proactive.
- Confident, self-starter who can work independently.
- Professional phone etiquette.
- Strong work ethic and goal-oriented mindset.
- Ability to handle stressful and difficult situations tactfully.
