As a Customer Service Representative , you will provide exceptional customer service to our current clients and new prospects, as well as work to support agency growth through sales/new business generation. We are a very well known agency and we are looking for someone who wants to serve their community and make an impact.
Candidates must have customer service/sales experience in a professional office or in a retail setting. Need to have the ability to work in a team environment, and a professional telephone presence. Must be able to pass both a background check and the State insurance license exams within a designated time frame (we will help you with this) and meet
continuing education requirements. This could be the start of a long career in one of the most stable industries and potential to advance in my agency.
Salary: Starting at $18-20/hour with performance-based increases

Responsibilities
- Handle all incoming calls from clients and potential customers.
- Process client policy change requests.
- Take and process premium payments from clients.
- Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating, and
- compliance requirements.
- Prospecting and generating new business through leads & referral sources.
- Call prospective customers by operating VOIP telephones, automatic dialing systems, and other internet technologies.
- Schedule appointments for Agent to meet prospective customers.
- Day to Day front office management including processing mail, filing, and general office duties.
Requirements
- Minimum one (1) year of customer service and sales experience in a professional office setting or retail environment is required.
- Experience using Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel) is required.
- Familiar with multiple computer platforms (Windows, Google, etc.) is required
- Previous insurance or banking industry experience highly preferred.
- Bilingual: English and Spanish is highly preferred
