Position Overview :
As an Agency Business Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in driving the performance of our insurance agents. You will be responsible for developing agent business plans, providing training and support, and ensuring that production expectations are met. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence in all interactions.
Key Responsibilities :
Agent Development :
Support the recruitment and development of new agents, ensuring they meet production and activity goals.
Training & Education :
Facilitate FIG-approved training programs to enhance agent knowledge and sales techniques.
Performance Management :
Monitor agent performance metrics, ensuring 100% of agents meet established business plan objectives.
Professional Representation :
Maintain a professional appearance and represent the District and Farmers Insurance in all interactions.
Compliance & Record-Keeping :
Ensure adherence to fiduciary responsibilities and company policies; maintain accurate records as required.
Collaborative Leadership :
Work collaboratively with other district and agency members to achieve collective goals and facilitate growth.
Qualifications :
Proven experience in a consulting, training, or leadership role preferably within the insurance industry preferable.
Strong understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C), Specialty, Commercial, and Life insurance products.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and appearance.
Proficient in using office equipment and computer systems.
Valid Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) license (or willingness to obtain).
Compensation & Benefits :
Salary :
52,500 annually, paid semi-monthly.
Bonus Opportunities :
Monthly, quarterly, and annual bonuses based on performance metrics.

80 hours of paid vacation annually after 6 months of employment.
Holidays :
