Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs that enhance employee skills and performance. You will also be responsible for learning/teaching Farmers Insurance products. Coach new agents and staff to support agency operations, staffing, marketing and business management. Responsible for new business and premium objectives for new agents across all lines of business including Personal Lines, Life, Business Insurance, Specialty, and Bristol West.
Duties
- Responsible for facilitating all aspects of the new agent appointment process to include forecasting, licensing, onboarding, and agent success.
- Provides a motivational learning environment in both face-to-face and field learning situations with Agency Owners and Agency Staff.
- Responsible for the overall performance of agencies including staffing and engagement in bonuses or financial support programs.
- Implement Farmers Agency Training curriculum to develop new and existing agents.
- Promotes overall district value proposition and drives results for multiple lines of business including Personal, Life, Specialty and Business Insurance.
- Use coaching skills to train products, marketing, services and technology to achieve sales objectives and measure program effectiveness.
- Completes timely entries in CRM platform to include information about agency contact, activity, and products discussed.
- Performs administrative and other miscellaneous office duties as assigned.
Skills
· Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency.
· Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
· Five Years with Farmers or comparable industry experience required.
· High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
· Must have Property & Casualty Insurance licenses.
· Must complete agent reserve program within 12 months.
· Ability to obtain or possess an active Life & Health Insurance license.
· Must pass a background check including (credit, criminal, regulatory and driving history)
The hours of this position will be in the office Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. with some holidays off.
