Job Description
As a Sales Producer you will use a variety of resources to sell residential insurance products in the state of CO. Your job is to hunt for sales and educate customers on their insurance needs. You will be producing insurance sales through a number of avenues: networking, calling out, receiving leads through direct marketing and warm/hot leads that call into our agency to receive quotes. Sales Producers at the Agency will experience daily trainings to help improve your confidence and sales ability to ensure you are helping customers in the best way possible. As a Sales Producer you have the unique opportunity to help customer protect their biggest assets. We are looking for someone who wants to sell insurance by educating clients on their insurance risks and the options we have to solve their problem.
Job Responsibilities
- Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
- Solicits for new insurance customers via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
- Develop insurance quotes, makes sales presentations, and closes sales.
- Develop ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, etc.
- Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity including financial products.
- Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements.
- Maintain knowledge of new Farmers insurance products.
- Maintains phone time or sales quotas as determined by management

EMPLOYEE BENEFITS
- Pay: Competitive salary monthly commissions. Expect for an inexperienced producer to have a base salary of $2,500/month and with commission you can have a total salary of $60-85k year one. Expect to double your salary with commission earned through monthly sales.
- Paid Time Off: 1 week paid holidays. Earn more PTO days over time and through promos/meeting goals/.
