As an Insurance Producer at Farmers you will represent a Fortune 500 company and provide insurance for home, auto, business, recreational and life.
You will play a crucial role in driving sales and building strong customer relationships while gaining valuable experience and skills in the insurance industry. Your primary responsibilities will be to generate new business opportunities, nurture client relationships and provide tailored insurance solutions to help clients safeguard their homes, vehicles, and futures.
Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect potential clients through various channels, including networking, referrals and leads.
- Conduct in-depth client needs assessments to understand their insurance requirements.
- Present and explain insurance policies and coverage options to clients.
- Customize insurance solutions to meet individual client needs.
- Close sales deals and meet or exceed sales targets.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the agency team to achieve overall business objectives.
- Continuously update knowledge of insurance products, industry trends, and regulations.
- Participate in training and development programs to prepare for the opportunity to become a licensed insurance agent.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a Property and Casualty Producers License or be able to obtain.
- Previous sales experience is required.
- Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive, resourceful, and coachable.
- Possess an upbeat, positive, and enthusiastic attitude.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a passion for sales.
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Willingness to acquire the necessary licenses and certifications to become a Farmers Insurance agent.
