Job Title: Customer Service / Sales Representative
Requirements
- Must have a high school degree or equivalent
- Must have customer service experience
- Must be able to provide top quality customer service in urgent and time sensitive situations
- Must have or be able to quickly obtain Insurance Producer's licenses in Property, Casualty, Life & Health from State of Alabama.
- Be comfortable with a sales related career based on commission and obtaining sales goals
- Must successfully complete and maintain all company, state and federal requirements including licenses to sell and service designated Farmers Insurance Products.
- Self-confidence, perseverance, the ability to remain positive and maintain progress towards a goal in spite of obstacles and adversity
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to conduct needs-based marketing interviews with potential and existing clients
- Experienced with popular computer software (Microsoft products especially)
- Ability to develop and follow a prospecting plan
Responsibilities
- Contact 25 - 50 insurance prospects per day via telephone
- Office will supply leads, along with a book of business to help generate insurance sales
- Visit local professionals and businesses as approved by the agent to establish networks
- Ask for referrals from new customers.
- Help generate sales for the insurance agency
- Gather and qualify customer information for each household
- Prepare insurance quotes and presentations
- Send out insurance quotes and presentations via email & mail
- Follow up with prospects and clients
- Correctly input client’s payments
- Notate client accounts with any transactions and account activity
- Provide any and all customer service needs to ensure client’s have the best possible experience
Insurance Sales Agent Compensation:
- Compensated on either an hourly schedule or base plus commission agreement
Pay will depend on skills and/or qualifications
