Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in hotel environments. This role requires the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Housekeeper will ensure that all rooms are sanitized, organized, and presentable, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Ensure all rooms are cleaned according to established standards of cleanliness.
- Manage housekeeping supplies and report any shortages or maintenance issues.
- Assist with laundry services as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Conduct deep cleaning tasks periodically, such as carpet cleaning and floor care.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Experience
- Familiarity with custodial practices and residential cleaning techniques is beneficial.
- Experience in hotel housekeeping is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
