Job Summary: Responsible for building strong customer relationships by providing financial guidance and offering banking products and services tailored to individual needs. They assist clients with opening and managing accounts, processing transactions, and identifying opportunities for cross-selling banking solutions such as loans and credit cards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Stays up to date with all banking regulations as it relates to personal banking responsibilities.
· Reviews and updates policies and procedures for the personal banking area.
· Assist with product development.
· Assist with resolving problems and completing work.
· With a good understanding of bank products/services and the customer’s current relationship, offers information on bank products and services that can benefit the customer and enhance their banking relationship. (Listens to the customer’s needs and matches those needs to the bank’s products and services resulting in referrals.)
· Prepares and compiles new customer application and information to open all types of accounts including: savings, checking, certificate of deposit, IRA’s, safe deposit, business and trust.
· Provides ongoing relationship servicing with current customers to maintain goodwill and gain additional business.
· Responds to customer requests regarding account inquiries.
· Promotes and cross-sells other bank products and services as appropriate to customer requirements.
· Generates new business to assist in meeting establishment profitability goals. Apply leadership skills to oversee and execute projects, contributing to the team’s operational success and efficiency.
· Demonstrate flexibility with occasional travel (less than 15%) to participate in training and professional development opportunities.
· Support workplace banking initiatives by attending events, assisting with account setup, and engaging employees, while ensuring a positive representation of the bank.
· Actively participate in community organizations and clubs to enhance the bank's presence and foster relationships.
· Cultivate referrals through proactive relationship-building, resulting in sales opportunities that drive the bank’s growth.

Education/Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years banking experience.
- 1-2 years of customer service experience.
- Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
- PC and keyboard skills
- High level of energy and positive can and will attitude

No certifications needed.
