MARKETING INTERNSHIP
FARMERS MUTUAL HAIL INSURANCE COMPANY OF IOWA
Looking for an internship to increase your knowledge and skillset in marketing and communications, working in a busy marketing and precision technology departments? Farmers Mutual Hail (FMH) is currently looking for an enthusiastic college student to intern in this role, supporting the Marketing team for our 2025 summer internship program. This is a paid internship starting Monday, May 19 through Friday, August 8, working up to 40 hours per week for the summer. This is not a remote internship. We are looking for currently enrolled college students who are close to the West Des Moines area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Gains knowledge of the core functions of a marketing team
- Assists with data analysis of digital marketing platforms
- Utilizes an integrated communication tool to prepare/send internal communications
- Creates and schedules social media posts
- Assists with processing planting data for precision policies
Qualifications:
- Must be enrolled at an undergraduate college or university, majoring in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field is preferred.
- Written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are necessary.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and Social Media platforms is desirable.
