SUMMARY: This position will ensure that all equity trades required by Trust Company Administrators and Investment officers are completed accurately and within the prescribed time frame. Additionally, this position will maintain various records and reports for all transactions and maintain accurate, up-to-date lists of securities and brokers within the Trust Company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accurately organize and execute all equity trades as required by Administrators and Investment Officers
- Solicit bids from all fixed income brokers (Morgan Stanley, Piper Jaffray, etc.)
- Update and maintain mutual fund models
- Maintain approved securities list and approved broker list
- Attend all Investment Committee meetings and record/document the minutes of these meetings
- Serve as Portfolio Manager and receive and enter directed trades on directed accounts as assigned
- Interface with Scorecard to handle any updates and changes such as consolidated account changes, benchmark changes, etc.
- Interact with Operations to resolve any settlement/delivery issues
- Facilitate bidding and execution of all fixed income orders and maintain relationships will all approved bond brokers
- Utilize Telemet to provide data necessary to support sector analysis
- Support Investment Officers in creation of financial statement reports on Investorsview & Frontier Analytics
- Upload mutual fund trades from trading platform to trust accounting system
- Update and maintain Tactical Asset Allocation models
- Provide necessary documentation and monitoring of compliance issues
- Complete all mandatory and elective training, including BSA (Bank Secrecy Act) and Anti-Money laundering procedures. Maintain compliance with all appropriate rules and regulations
- Regular, predictable attendance is an essential requirement of this position
- Complete all other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Associate's Degree in a Business/ Financial Services related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Investment services
