Duties
- Assist in processing loan applications and gathering necessary documentation from clients.
- Ensure compliance with regulations throughout the loan process.
- Collaborate with senior team members on loan origination tasks, including underwriting and guidelines.
- Conduct basic math calculations to assess client eligibility for loans.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and loan progress within the bank's systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and guiding them through the loan application process.
- Support sales efforts by collaborating with the sales team to identify potential leads and follow up on referrals.
Experience
- Previous experience in loan processing or financial services is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with basic math principles related to finance and lending practices.
- Knowledge of underwriting processes and FNMA guidelines is a plus.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively within a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients professionally.
