What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mortgage Construction Draw Administrator position at Farmers National Bank?
SUMMARY: Administer all phases of construction draw process from origination to conversion to permanent
financing. Coordinate release of funds, extensions and conversions to permanent financing with loan servicing
personnel.
- Key point of contact with builders, customers and loan officers during the construction draw phase.
- Timely monitoring of incoming draw requests and ensure draws are completed within customer and
- Complete builder reviews, which may include reviewing builder financials, credit history, verifying
- Order onsite inspections from appraisers or qualified inspectors and follow up until received.
- Order mechanic lien updates from settlement agents and follow up until received. Communicate
- Review onsite inspection reports for accuracy and verify construction build progress.
- Prepare draw forms for builders and customers and distribute for signature.
- Coordinate release of funds from Loan in Process (LIP) accounts with loan servicing
- Monitor inspection / appraisal funds held and administer any refunds when construction phase is
- Utilize reporting to track upcoming construction completion dates for all loans in construction phase.
When timeframes may need adjusted, coordinate the necessary documentation and loan account
updates with loan servicing personnel.
- Distribute other construction related notices to builders and customers as required
- Perform post-closing documentation administration when required
- Complete all mandatory and elective training including BSA and Anti-Money Laundering procedures.
- Regular predictable attendance is an essential requirement of this position
- Complete all other duties as assigned
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in mortgage origination or mortgage loan servicing required.
- Customer service and / or sales experience required
- Understanding of GLs and flow of funds for construction disbursements.
- Good verbal and written communication with ability to explain financial information related to
- Must possess a strong organizational ability with attention to detail with ability to multi task in a fast
- Good problem solver and independent thinker with ability to research and communicate results to
- Team oriented with demonstrated effort to assist other department staff related to construction
