Description:
Farmers State Bank is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Universal Banker to work in the Northwood branch. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing various banking tasks, including accepting deposits, cashing checks, processing loan payments, balancing cash drawers, and identifying fraudulent activity.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accepts checks and cash for deposits to accounts, verifies amounts, examines checks for proper endorsement, and enters deposits into system.
- Cashes checks and processes withdrawals.
- Processes loan payments.
- Balances a cash drawer with accuracy.
- Identifies fraudulent activity.
- Assists with night depository and vault duties.
- Effectively cross-sells bank services.
- May open accounts as needed.
- Maintains a well-developed, current, working knowledge of the complete bank line of products and services.
- Assists with special projects and duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Available to work Monday through Friday during regular bank hours, with rotating Saturday mornings.
- Must be dependable and able to work the required shifts.
- Maintain professional appearance and behavior at all times.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work with all types of customers.
