Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain highest level of confidentiality, customer service, and professionalism to promote a positive image of the company
Adhere to all health and safety policies/procedures, FSMA and HACCP requirements, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
Responsible for leading, coaching, training, developing and disciplining of production personnel
Create standard work and overtime schedules and review employee timecards periodically
Review or submit employee Personnel Action Forms and have follow-up conversations as needed
Assist in the selection of new hires and implement onboarding and training schedules
Create and manage SOPs for all areas of the facility and ensure training is provided to supervisors and workers per SOPs
Assist supervisors with coordinating inventory schedules; cycle counts; and plant maintenance with plant production schedules
Set standards for plant housekeeping and ensure standards are understood, being achieved, and are continuously being improved
Develop a strong knowledge of plant equipment, operating procedures and best practices, and operator basic care requirements
Communicate with team members to understand and meet goals and to solve operating problems efficiently and effectively
Work with management and other supervisory staff to continuously improve plant operating standards, processes and procedures
Work with the Complex Manager to identify and manage goals, objectives, budgets, and timelines to meet KPIs

Qualifications
BS degree in Business Management or related field, preferred
5 years of experience in industry and specialized training in supervision
Ability to create accountability and lead by example
Ability to function as an effective project manager and team leader to manage resources according to changing needs
Willingness to take a hands-on approach and assist in all areas of the facility
Strong team building and decision-making skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Microsoft Dynamics, preferred
Travel up to 10%, annually
