Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Route Driver to join our team. As a Route Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods and materials to designated locations. This position requires operating various types of heavy equipment, including dump trucks, forklifts, manual transmission vehicles, flatbeds, roll-off trucks, tankers, and tractor-trailers. Responsibilities: - Safely operate assigned vehicle(s) to transport goods and materials to specified destinations - Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques - Follow established routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries - Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving - Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance or repair needs - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant information - Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members - Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety protocols Qualifications: - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Proven experience as a Route Driver or similar role - Ability to operate heavy equipment such as dump trucks, forklifts, manual transmission vehicles, flatbeds, roll-off trucks, tankers, and tractor-trailers - Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations - Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Physical stamina to handle loading/unloading of cargo Benefits: - Competitive pay based on experience - Health insurance options - Retirement savings plan - Paid time off If you are a skilled Route Driver with experience operating heavy equipment and a commitment to safety, we encourage you to apply for this position.
