Duties
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Assist with pain management and acute pain management strategies.
- Provide care for patients with behavioral health needs, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Perform venipuncture and other necessary procedures for patient assessments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
Skills
- Proficient in behavioral health assessment and intervention techniques.
- Knowledgeable in pain management practices, including acute pain management strategies.
- Skilled in venipuncture techniques for effective blood draws and IV placements.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient interaction and documentation.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in patient care delivery.
