A DAY IN THE LIFE AS AN LPN/RN Unit Manager:
As an LPN/RN unit manager at Farmerville Nursing and Rehabilitation, you have direct care and supervisory responsibilities for nursing assistants. You are responsible for ensuring that professional standards of practice meet patient's needs through physician orders, facility policies and procedures, and federal, state, and local guidelines. You do everything you can to preserve their dignity, as individualized physical, psychological, and social support is required. You treat those you care for the same way you would want your family members treated. You love people and enjoy interacting with patients and residents, as well as family, visitors, and other healthcare providers.
