Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team in Williston. The ideal candidate will have a passion for local beer, cocktails, and wine and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender at Farmhouse Williston, you will be responsible for creating and serving beverages at the bar and service well for the restaurant while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils, completing sidework, and other daily tasks.
- Engage with customers, taking orders, providing recommendations, and ensuring satisfaction with their drinks and food.
- Handle transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tabs.
- Complete necessary prep (juicing, making syrups, garnishes, batched cocktails, and any other prep projects needed for service)
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe eating and drinking environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff for service or special events as required.
- Stay updated on new drink trends and menu items to enhance the guest experience.
- Report directly to Bar Manager and General Manager.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a bar, food service, or hospitality is required.
- Knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and classic cocktails.
- Bar skills (shaking, stirring, how to properly pour beer, change kegs, wine service etc.)
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
- Cicerone Beer Server certification a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for success in this role.
