What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Instructional Support Associate - Nursing position at Farmingdale State College?
The Department of Nursing Instructional Support Associate works closely with both students and faculty in the nursing skills and simulation labs. Responsibilities include supervision of nursing students during open skills lab practice, set-up and breakdown of skills equipment for skills classes, Open Lab and simulation classes, set up and operate simulation equipment during simulation lab and clinical days on campus, assist faculty and students as technical support during simulation and lab activities.
Work hours and days TBD.
Salary: $27/hour
Job Requirements:
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing.
- A minimum of (2) years' experience in a clinical setting.
ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior work experience in nursing skills lab in a Bachelor of Science degree program.
- Experience with high-fidelity simulation equipment.
