Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals
- Perform routine procedures such as vaccinations, blood draws, and wound care
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
- Prepare animals for surgery and assist during surgical procedures
- Take and develop X-rays
- Provide animal restraint during examinations and procedures
- Monitor animals before, during, and after procedures to ensure their well-being
- Maintain accurate records of patient care and treatment

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a veterinary technician or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in animal restraint techniques
- Familiarity with pet care and handling techniques
- Experience with X-ray equipment operation and film development
- Ability to perform animal catheterization when necessary
- Knowledge of Avimark is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
