Overview: Farmington Country Club is seeking a dedicated and personable Locker Room Attendant to enhance the overall locker room experience for our members and guests. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our facilities are welcoming, clean, and fully equipped to meet the needs of our members. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, demonstrate the ability to anticipate member needs, and exhibit a strong sense of ownership over their responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional daily services in the locker room, ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable environment for all members and guests.
- Anticipate the needs of members by offering personalized assistance and recommendations, fostering a sense of community and comfort.
- Perform golf shoe cleaning and polishing to maintain the highest standards of service.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the locker room, including showers, restrooms, and changing areas, ensuring a pleasant atmosphere.
- Replenish and manage locker room amenities, including toiletries, towels, and refreshments, to ensure a fully stocked environment.
- Oversee housekeeping tasks within the fitness area and locker rooms, ensuring that all areas are clean, safe, and presentable.
- Work independently with strong time management skills, demonstrating accountability and ownership of assigned tasks and responsibilities.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless operations and exceptional service.
- Address any member concerns or feedback promptly and professionally to enhance the member experience.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect for all members and their personal belongings.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a club or hospitality setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and connect with members.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative in anticipating and fulfilling member needs.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to cleanliness and organization.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Due to the nature of this role, which includes managing a locker room and respecting the privacy of members, this position requires a male employee in accordance with bona fide occupational qualification standards under federal law.
- Occasional weekend work availability is required.
