Responsibilities

- Administer first aid and basic life support to injured individuals.
- Monitor vital signs of patients and provide necessary medical care until further assistance arrives.
- Perform routine maintenance on firefighting equipment and vehicles.
- Participate in training exercises to maintain skills and knowledge of firefighting techniques.
- Educate the community on fire prevention and safety measures.
- Collaborate with other emergency services during multi-agency responses.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in firefighting or emergency services is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks associated with firefighting duties.
- Strong mechanical knowledge for operating firefighting equipment effectively.
- Certification in CPR, First Aid, Basic Life Support, or willingness to obtain these certifications.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in emergency situations.
