Farmington High School is seeking an experienced High School Spanish Teacher starting August 2025.
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated High School Spanish Teacher to join our dynamic educational team. The Spanish teacher will be responsible for delivering effective instruction, fostering language acquisition, and promoting cultural understanding through engaging classroom activities, assessments, and instructional methods.

Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Valid CT teaching certification (023)
- Experience:
- Previous experience teaching Spanish at the high school level preferred.
- Experience in designing curriculum and assessments for language instruction.
- Familiarity with using technology and digital resources to support language learning is a plus.
- Skills & Abilities:
- Proficiency in spoken and written Spanish (native or near-native fluency preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Enthusiasm for teaching and working with high school students.
