Middle School Track and Field Coach
Spring 2025
April 1-May 16, 2024 (26 days)
6-8 hours per week.
Variable hours as determined by the Middle School Sports Coordinator
Practices are typically from 4 : 00-5 : 30.
Meets typically start between 4 : 15 - 4 : 30 and last about 2 hours.
Job Summary :
Instruct and supervise middle school students during practices and at home and away meets. Help officiate at meets if schools are unable to hire enough for a meet.
Essential Functions :
- Responsible for effective instruction and the safety of students during practices and matches.
- Enforce all District and program policies, rules and regulations
- Ensure proper care, use, and storage of equipment used during the season
- Report any unsafe conditions (including damage or malfunction of equipment) to the Middle School Sports Coordinator
- Keep accurate daily attendance records
- Performs other related duties as assigned
