Mid-Level Full Stack Engineer

Currently, 85% of the industry is controlled by the Big Four meat packers, perpetuating inequities in margin distribution.

For every $1 spent on meat at the grocery store, only $0.14 makes it back to the producer. Farmshare is addressing this imbalance by building the largest independent processor network in the world—without owning any physical infrastructure. We are looking for a Mid-Level Full Stack Engineer to join our high-growth, fast-moving team. This is a hands-on engineering role, perfect for someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment where they can take ownership and drive impact. You’ll work across the stack, contribute to architectural decisions, and collaborate with offshore engineering teams, ensuring alignment with Farmshare’s vision.

This is a hybrid position based in Denver, CO, offering flexibility with remote work while fostering in-person collaboration.

• Build & Scale: Develop, test, and maintain full-stack SaaS applications that power independent meat processors.
• Lead with Autonomy: Take ownership of features from design to deployment, working independently with minimal oversight.
• Collaborate Globally: Work closely with offshore contractors to align on priorities, maintain code quality, and ensure seamless integration.
• Drive Best Practices: Maintain high standards for coding, security, and performance, leveraging modern engineering principles.
• Enhance Infrastructure: Contribute to DevOps and cloud-based solutions in AWS, Digital Ocean, or GCP.
• Product Influence: Work with our product and business teams to refine requirements, shape user experiences, and deliver impact-driven solutions.
  

• 3 years of professional experience in full-stack development using:
• React, Node.js, Express, MongoDB
• TypeScript (strong proficiency required)
• GraphQL & REST APIs
• Cloud experience with AWS, GCP, or Digital Ocean
• Startup Mentality: Comfortable wearing multiple hats, working in ambiguity, and pivoting quickly.
• Strong Communication: Ability to work across teams, including offshore engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
• DevOps & Infrastructure: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, NX, and GitHub Actions is a plus.
