Senior Frontend Software Engineer - Santa Clara, CA
Responsibilities : As a Senior Frontend Software Engineer at FarmWise, you will design and implement web interfaces for customers and employees to control and analyze data from our smart implements and collected data. Design and maintain FarmWise's website. You will design and build features for on-device displays to backend analysis and management tools. Guide engineers to building streamlined, usable web interfaces by ensuring code is valid and properly structured. Build web interfaces with performant frontend components to enable better user experience. Set standards and build reusable components for the future of frontend development in the organization. Focus continually on improving the user experience, software quality and performance.
Qualifications : THIS POSITION REQUIRES A BACHELOR'S DEGREE (OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT) IN SOFTWARE ENGINEERING, COMPUTER SCIENCE, ENGINEERING, OR IN A CLOSELY RELATED FIELD, PLUS 5 YEARS OF WORK EXPERIENCE AS A SOFTWARE ENGINEER OR IN A CLOSELY RELATED OCCUPATION.

REQUIRED SKILLS : EXPERTISE / KNOWLEDGE OF :
Front-end software engineering and web technologies, for example, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, jQuery and / or ReactExperience with a service-oriented architecture, monitoring, diagnostics, and performanceDesign for accessibilitySecurity compliance protocolsCustomer-facing UI, including testing, monitoring, and releasesAgile / Scrum development processesGITHub and GIT version controls
